Our Chief Executive Officer, Steven Tapsall and Group Sales Manager, Greg Holmes, enjoyed flying into Tropical Cairns last week for this year's ASBAQ 2022 Conference. The program continues to strive to lead the way by asking the most challenging questions facing the Education sector. This year, the ASBAQ members, Sponsors and Organising Committee all focused on working together towards finding ways to rethink our challenges and opportunities with Fresh Perspectives.

The team had the opportunity to build upon our long-standing relationships within Education, using our time at the event to improve our knowledge of existing industry challenges and offer support in finding innovative and sustainable ways to improve in our ever-changing environment.

The conference program included a list of influential speakers who came together to share their views on the conference theme Fresh Perspectives. The all-star program included Mark McCrindle (Best Selling Author), Michael McQueen (past Australian Keynote Speaker of the Year) and Penny Locaso (the world's first Happiness Hacker), to name a few. Members were also privileged to hear from non-other than the honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove as he shared his views on Mastering Leadership.

Also, a special congratulations to Anna Thompson from The Moreton Bay College; we were thrilled to present her with our ESG conference prize of an Apple iPad on the last day of the conference. After a challenging couple of years of limited contact, it was fantastic to get the opportunity to network and check in with all the ASBAQ 2022 members face to face. We have already marked the next event on the calendar and look forward to working through the next two years with a Fresh Perspective.
