Champagnat Trust Sports Lunch 2021

Now in its 17th year, this year’s annual Champagnat Trust Sports Lunch, held Friday 11 June 2021 at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre, was yet again fantastic. Our Executive General Manager, Steven Tapsall and Group Sales Manager, Greg Holmes, joined Matthew Tarlinton from Marist College Ashgrove and Brendan Hood from Higgins Coatings to help raise funds for boys from financially disadvantaged families, enabling them to attend Marist College.

Eaton Services Group is privileged to support such an occasion. Steve, Greg and other guests enjoyed hearing from a distinguished panel of sporting stars, including Australian cricketer Carl Rackemann, Australian touring car champion Dick Johnson, world champion marathon runner Robert de Castella, and AFL great Robert “Dipper” DiPierdomenico.

Hosted by Australian cricketer and local legend Greg Ritchie, the luncheon also included many raffles and auctions of memorabilia and prizes, with proceeds going toward this critical fundraiser.

A special thanks to all that organised the event; it was a sensational lunch sitting amongst legends - we all came away inspired by their remarkable stories of achievement and dedication.
