Gold Award Honour by RetireAustralia

Today, on behalf of our cleaning team, our Executive General Manager, Steven Tapsall, was presented with the COVID Contractor Gold Award (Queensland) by Nick Palmer, Manager of Home Care / Region Care QLD and Tina Saunders, Village Manager from RetireAustralia.

The award is part of RetireAustralia's Queensland "You made a difference campaign", where our cleaning team was acknowledged for going above and beyond with their service and support during the last 18 months at several RetireAustralia's retirement villages.

Nick and Tina handed Steve the COVID Contractor Gold Award certificate and a beautiful hamper to celebrate our achievement during a surprise meeting. During the presentation, Steve felt almost lost for words by the recognition received from the team. Steve and our entire team's appreciation for the words spoken during the presentation are overwhelming.

"We owe you & your team a lot for how responsive you have been to the many challenges we have faced since COVID and also trying to get RetireAustralia Home Care up off the ground in South East Queensland," said Nick Palmer.

Our team has supported RetireAustralia with cleaning and facility services for over four years within their Home Care program at several of their exclusive retirement villages across Brisbane. The facilities are lovely locations for independent retirees. Their Home Care services aim to make life easier for residents by helping them stay safely in their own homes for longer.

With COVID-19 affecting us all, Eaton Services Group has made it our mission to ensure that our customers feel safe and secure in their environment. We aim to keep all facilities hygienic, with optimum cleanliness delivered to the standard necessary to protect people against COVID-19 infection. This award is a fantastic reminder that what we do every day is valued and needed.
