Supporting Students in Our Community
Our team enjoyed another fantastic day on the green yesterday at the St Peters-Higgins Golf Day held at the Brookwater Golf & Country Club.
The event was held as part of the St Peters Service-Learning program, with funds raised supporting their students to care for the wider community.
The Service-Learning at St Peter's is a noble initiative that involves students participating in community service across various projects, including visiting aged care centres, collecting toiletries, and knitting beanies for the Homeless.
The event raised $10,000 for their program, and Ross Thomson and the entire team who worked behind the scenes to make the day possible should be commended. The day was a great excuse to catch up with the wider St Peters Community and support a fantastic cause.
For those of you who enjoy a game of Golf, the Brookwater course is without a doubt one of Queensland's finest golf experiences. The 18-hole, par 72 championship golf course was a challenge with its signature bunkering and inclusion of natural waterways.
Congratulations to all involved; our team enjoyed the day and were pretty happy to come away with second place on the day.
